Desktop prank repair help

Some guy pranked me while I was out, he set a screenshot of my desktop as my
desktop and deleted the buttons, and now I can't figure out how to get my
Internet Browser icon back. Any tips?
 
Right click on the Desktop>Properties>Desktop>
Customize Desktop,check Internet Explorer>OK>Again ok on Display properties.

Great prank! I have a few users for that one!

Right click on the desktop, select properties, then the Desktop tab

Select 'Customise Desktop', and there is a set of checkboxes for the common
desktop icons, including Internet Explorer, if that was your browser. If
its not then....
