I'm using bochs to test some programs (I'm a programmer).
The virtual machine is win98 and it is not possible to set the video
card to svga. So I'm limited to 16 colors and 640x480 resolution.
Unix window managers have a great feature, desktop panning:
the resolution of your video card/monitor can be set to 640x480, but you
can define a virtual desktop of, say, 1024x768. When you move beyond the
640x480 border the desktop pans with your mouse.
Some video cards have this feature.
I serched google but I found out only virtual desktop programs (that is
n desktops instead of one) but that is not what I need.
I found a link but I got a 404 error:
http://hem.fyristorg.com/jspage/
Can you help me?
Thanks
