desktop message: hs_err_pid3956 -- Exception Stack Overflow ???

This message keeps coming to my desktop. I delete and it comes again with
subsequent dates. Help. What to do?

The description matches this.

"An application or applet has crashed the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). As
result, a file with filename beginning with hs_err has been placed on
the desktop."

So it could be a Java problem. The "HS" in the name, comes from
"HotSpot Virtual Machine".
