Desktop Icons

I ran desktop cleaner and it removed some icons that I use all the time!
So I added new icons but it adds two of every one I put in and if I delete
one of the
icons then the other one does not work!
Any help you can give me will be appreciated

I also had this problem only worst. If I remember correctly, the problem was
that the shortcut was the path from previous shortcut. I deleted all the
shortcuts (except the ones that WERE working) and rebooted. Then I created
NEW shortcuts. My problem was so severe, it took appox. 3 hours to correct.
Don't know the cause.

You may disable the function if you don't plan to use it.
