At the bottom of the Program Icons is the description,
which usually is in a transparent text box so the
background shows through. Somehow I've a blue text box
that obscures the picture on the desktop. How to I get
that to become transparent?

Thanks

Right click My Computer/Properties/Advanced tab/Settings button in the
performance box. In the Visual Effects tab scroll down to "Use drop shadows
for icon labels on the desktop" make sure it is
checked.

Also, right click the desktop and look in Arrange icons by and make sure
that "Lock Web Items on Desktop" is not checked.
