Desktop Icons

When I right click on the desktop and choose arrange
icons by name, all of the icons are not arranged by
name. It seems to arrange them in groups. I want to
arrange ALL of the icons aophabetically. Help!

This is because there are two groups of icons. There is the set in:

Documents and Settings\<username>\Desktop

and

Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop

The ones in All Users are sorted and grouped first, then the ones in your <username>\Desktop folder.
