desktop icons

I am currently unable to move any of my desktop icons
around. I do not have Auto-Arrange, align to grid, or
any of the other "arrange by __" boxes checked either.
Any help you could give me would be much appreciated.

How about "lock web items on desktop"? It's in the same right click menu as
Auto-Arrange and the others but is further down the list.

Hi Sharon... tks for the info about the lock web items... i had looked
at that too but it was the [esc] key on the keyboard that was stuck.
