Desktop icons

Hello.

I have 5 users set-up on my PC. When i add an icon to my
Desktop, it appears on the other users Desktops, and the
same when they add icons, it appears on My Desktop.

How do i stop this, in Windows 98 i had no problem, i just
clicked on 'users personalise their own ....'

Please help, Cheers.
 
Desktop icons are stored in Documents and Settings\<username>\Desktop and Document and Settings\All Users\Desktop. As the latter implies, shortcuts placed there will be available to All Users.
