desktop icons

[cmcm]

after fiddling around with user profile folders I now get
tdesktop icon repeated ie there are two of them - this
only applies to icons added by the user - other, system
icons are still single (eg recycle bin, my computer, etc)

any ideas?

Look for duplicates in:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop

Hi Colin,
Also if checking for the duplicates doesn't work, there is a Microsoft
Public utility that you
can install and it will cleanup various user profiles issue.

We can leave this installed long enough for users to login and out a few
times to ensure
the profiles are cleaned. Then we can uninstall the UPHclean. *keep it
handy... its a great tool*
