desktop icons

I've suddenly got two desktop icons that have changed their appearance. When
I right-click/properties/change-icon it reports that it can't find a certain
ico32 file. I go to my programs and change the icons to the ones located
there but then Windows tells me "Access Denied" and won't keep the changes.
I've also checked to make sure that the icons are not marked "Read Only".
They're not. What might be causing this? The icons still work, the program
opens like normal. Thanks.

No, not yet. This is the second time I've posted this. My last post got no
response at all! The two affected icons on mine are AutoCad icons.
