Desktop Icon Problem

I can no longer move my desktop icons around
on my desktop.

Any suggestions?

Do you mean that if you drag them they just go back to where they
were? If so:-

Right click on vacant area of desktop

Select "Arrange Icons by"

If "Auto Arrange" is ticked then select it to untick it.

When I do this here's the settings

Align to grid and
Show Desktop Icons

are the only items that have a check mark(Tick) next to them.
