Somehow, I managed to lose my show desktop icon that was at the bottom of my
screen. I wanted to rearrange my desktop icons but the icon at the bottom of
the screen isn't there for me to right click (to rearrange screen). Please

Hi Mark,
What you mean by the Bottom one?.
Did you tried this:
Right click on an Empty space on the Desktop and select from the drop down
list Arrange icon >> By Name | Size | Type | Modified .

Or Right click on the Taskbar and select the Show Desktop, does this what
you are after.

Also at the Bottom make sure the Show Desktop icons is checked.

Create a text file in Notepad as follows:

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Save it as Show Desktop.scf then drag it to the Quick launch bar.
Or just click on this link:

Restore/Add Show Desktop to Quick Launch (Line 61)

Also note that you can do this with a keyboard shortcut: the
combination of the Windows key + D or the Windows key + M.
