A curious thing on one computer--when I got to the site, there was a
"message' on the destop saying it was infected with spyware, trying to
make the user click on a link. By right-clicking and looking at the
properties, the desktop was actually a web page called warnhp.html. I
found the actual file in the system and deleted it, but when checking
the properties of the desktop, it still comes up as a web page. I
cannot bring up the Display Properties when right-clicking on it.

This must be a registry entry, but where? I need this users' desktop
to be put back to the "real" desktop. It displays all his icons, but
the background is plain white.

This describes it perfectly. Now I'll just wade through the thread and
see if I have any luck.

Thanks
Art
