Desktop folders

Hi,

I don't know what I did, but somehow I changed the look of my desktop and I
can't get it back to normal. All folder names appear in a dark blue box now.
I tried to change the appereance of the desktop, and I am able to change the
color of the box, but I am not able to select no color at all. All I want is
that the folder shows with the name of it below.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Go to Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced (tab) > Settings (under
Performance). If you have a Custom Visual Effect, make sure that "Use drop
shadows for icon labels on the desktop" is checked. Otherwise, Select
"Adjust for best appearance" and click on OK and OK.

Thanks for your help. I tried both options, but nothing changed. It's still
dark blue.
