IE is my default browser but also use Firefox from time to time. Firefox icon
appears on desktop but also all the supporting files from Firefox. Have tried
re-installing but all supporting files reappear. Have gone to Windows
Explorer and dragged them all into Downloaded Programs. This works until the
next time I click on Firefox Icon and all the support files reappear on
desktop.

I've checked earlier posts and none seem to deal specifically with this.

during the install you change the default install location to Desktop, thus
the files were copied to the desktop?
