Desktop Configuration Problem - View -> Icons

I have my XP desktop configured to use the classic
configuration. I still prefer folders to confusing
cascading menus. For some reason, even though I reset each
folder to "View -> Icons", the folders frequently return
to "View -> Tile". This is driving me crazy because I
can't track what triggers the setting back to View Tile.
Does anyone have an idea why my folders will show up using
this annoying view?

Hi Mike,
This may help. Download and apply the edit. And then reset the folder views
according to your choice.

Increase folder view size limit to 8000 (line 2, left column)

That did not appear to fix my problem. When I rebooted,
one of my folders came back in "Tile View". Any other
thoughts?
