Add my own watermark images like My Pics

I like the backgroung/watermark pics shown in different folder view:

How can I make my own pics show up in my own folders? E.g., in My Icons
folder, I have a pic that I want to use so it shows like the ones in the
link above.

I *have* tried customizing the folder and editing the desktop.ini file
but it just shows my pic tiled and not in the bottom right hand corner.

The feature you are talking about "Use a background image for each
folder type" is in under "my computer" -> properties -> Advanced ->
performance -> settings.

But mine is on in XP and I still don't get those watermark pictures.

This intrigues me. Anyway, I put the string
"Use a background image for each folder type"
in google and found many hits, and this one in particular
