Was given to me because it was in a law firm office. I was told that it was just great one day and then the next it would boot up - can hear HD running. no signal to any monitors that i have tried that i know are valid. Any ideas? please help it's going to wear me out until i toss it or repair it. my hypothesis..maybe power surge or lightning and got the mother board etc
thaks
Scott

Do you get any sound from the speakers like it would if it is booting
(Windows sounds)? If so, it could be actually posting and booting but the
video card is shot. Try another one.

Are you getting any beep codes while it is trying to post? If you are, try
clearing the CMOS on the motherboard board. Then see if it will boot to the
BIOS.
