desktop background

i recently got a picture online, and used it for a
desktop, it is now on my list of items to use for my
desktop. How do i delete this item for good?

Hi,

The pictures that show up under display properties, desktop are located in
these folders:

C:\Documents and Settings\user name\My Documents\My Pictures
C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper
C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
