Desktop(Background) tab in Display Properties

In DISPLAY PROPERTIES disappeared DESKTOP tab.
I tryed to fix it using regedit and making "NoDispBackgroundPage"=dword:0 in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\system

It did not help me to see DESKTOP tab again.
Help me to fix my issue, plz!

Look for a NoDispBackgroundPage value in this key also...

sstabmissing.reg is the file for Tab Missing.

Sorry... Did not help me ether. I tryed to use restorealldisplaytabs.reg. The
message I'v got is "Cannot import C:\Documents: Error opening the file .
There may be a disk or system error."

Delete the restorealldisplaytabs.reg file that you have now and download
another one, the existing one may be corrupt for whatever reason.

It was really helpfull! Thanks a lot!!! "Desktop" tab is on it's spot!

Now another issue came up. Desktop view become to show really unusual - like
folder view in XP. The left side of my desktop uppered bar with commands
"make a new folder", "share folder" and other regular options of folder view.

Also in Display Propeties - when I right clik on desktop - Active Desktop
function does not exist...

screen.

-- Hey I had a nasty Spyware virus hit me pretty good and lost my background
display options. I can see them but I cannot choose any its as if they are
locked. and this was after removal of the spyware viruses. Please help me
get this option working again its so boring just looking at a blank blue page.
