I have run anti-adware and spyware and deleted the bad files. The desktop
though still goes back to an ad for anti-adware from the internet instead of
my set desktop theme. thank you, Steven

Right click on a blank space on the Desktop, choose Properties.
Click the Desktop tab. Click the Web tab. Click the Customize Desktop
button.
Click on any Web pages other than My Current Home Page, then click the
Delete button. Click OK.
If the Apply button is available, click it, then OK again.

You can just say "I have run anti-adware and spyware..."

You *must* state what software you used and their respective versions.

Please download, install and update the following software...

Ad-aware SE v1.06
http://www.lavasoft.de/
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

SpyBot Search and Destroy v1.4
http://security.kolla.de/

After the software is updated, I suggest scanning the system in Safe Mode.

I also suggest downloading, installing and updating BHODemon for any Browser Helper Objects
that may be on the PC.

I second the "run in safe mode" -- I have run into a number of items
that are hidden until you run in safe mode (sneaky little things). This
also applies to your antivirus software - run in safe mode to make sure
it sees everything. Normal mode is fine usually, but in your case,
safe mode will be more likely to find stuff.
