Deskjet 5550 Duplexes incorrectly

I have:

Windows Vista Ultimate
HP Deskjet 5550 with Duplexer

I'm using the 'HPA' drivers with the printer. I enable the duplexer in the
driver, and then select 'double sided' in the finishing properties. If I then
print something with two pages (from Word 2007for example), the first page
prints fine. The printer then sucks the page into the duplexer, spins it
around, then spits it back out the print the other side. The trouble is, the
second side is printed upside down!

I tried doing the same thing from an XP PC using the standard HP drivers I
downloaded, and that works fine.

It appears the drivers for Vista aren't rotating the pages correctly, and as
a result it makes a mess of the print. The HP site says there are no drivers.
I might try forcing the XP drivers on (my Brother printer uses the XP
drivers), but I wondered if there is a solution to this problem?

HP working to get their tech group up to speed on this as well as the fix
posted on Windows Update but both solutions take some process cycles. In
the meanwhile please use Alan Update and I'll send you the file and
instructions how to get the duplex working as you expect it to.

There are over HP 20 models with the same issue. HP has supplied me the
drivers for the ones people have requested. I hope they get the support
portioned worked out soon, I have a day job.

Hello Alan, I attempted to send you email direct but it kept bouncing.
Anyway I have an OfficeJet 6110 that has the same problem of flipping the
back page upside down when using my auto duplexer. Can you please tell me
how I can get the drivers to fix the problem? Thanks a million.
