Hello, I have MS Office 2003. I am trying to design a new form, but the
fields i want to add will be in the details tab. when i went into the design
mode, i found that I cannot modify the details tab. Is there a way to modify
the details tab or add fields to it?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

What Details tab? There is All Fields, Properties and Actions.

in the contacts form, you have General, Details, Activities, Certificates
and All Fields. When I go to "Design this form", I can only modify the
"General" tab but I cant add fields to the "Details" Tab. Got it?? I want to
add some fields to the "Details" tab.
Thank you.

Ah a contact form. You see, it helps telling exactly what you are doing.

No, you cannot modify this page.
