thanks Lucy. That's where I looked, but apparently, they changed the
terminology. I tried that, and I did locate and download the 'template'
online. Although I was able to appy it to my existing ppt presentation, the
template (theme) did not remain in my available themes after I closed the
program and opened it again. Any ideas?
If you click the down arrow at the end of the themes box it opens up and
right down at the bottom it says 'save current theme' - save to default
location. Then in a new presentation you can 'browse for themes' and
re-apply. I think I got this from doing this training course: http://office.microsoft.com/training/training.aspx?AssetID=RC102253691033
I'm using 2003 primarily so am still finding my way in 2007 too
Thanks again Lucy. I'm glad 07 is such an improvement over previous
versions! So much more intuitive too! Luckily, Bill is still the richest
guy in USA, but I think the northwest dank has finally seeped into his
cranium.
Hi, I'm trying to save a slide theme that I customized as and saved as a
template to be applied to all slides in another folder. when I do save as,
give it a file name, with a type as design template, close out and reopen ppt
the theme do not show in the list of themes under design tab, however, I do
see it if I browes for it and go to document template folder. I am unable to
apply it to other slides nor can I import other slides into it. Do you have
any tip or information as to how this can be done?
