All I want to do is use the 2007 templates with PPT 2003. Is this possible?
If so, how would I go about loading the 2007 templates into my computer with
PPT 2003? Thanks.

If you're talking about the "templates" that are installed with PPT 2007,
well, those 2007 "templates" are actually themes, with a *.THMX extension. I
am not sure if 2003 (with the compatibility pack -- see comments below) will
recognize that or not.

If you have PPT 2007 available, you can apply the theme to a new, blank file
and then choose Save As and save as PowerPoint Template (*.POTX) or
PowerPoint 97-2003 Template (*.POT). PPT 2003 can use the POT file easily,
of course.. For the POTX file, you'd need to install the compatibility pack,
which lets PPT 2003 open 2007-format files (PPTX, POTX, etc.). The
compatibility pack is here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...70-3AE9-4AEE-8F43-C6BB74CD1466&displaylang=en

Installing the compatibility pack might let PPT 2003 open THMX files, I'm
not sure. Unfortunately, I can't check right now, either, but you could
install the compat pack and give it a shot.

Be aware that your slide masters and color schemes will be weird, and you'll
probably want to do some cleanup after opening the 2007 template in 2003 to
make it more workable in 2003. These things don't port very well between the
two versions because of the differences in these features.
