i hav an access project that i made... then i
want to install it on other computer but when
i run it... it ask for a library or display an error...
If you post the exact message, the probability of someone being able to help
you will be significantly increased. If you, also, tell us whether you want
to deploy to machines where Access is not installed or whether those
machines have Access, and whether it is the same version of Access, it would
be even more helpful.
Question: How can i make a setup/installer
out of my access project...
You cannot produce an "executable" from an Access database. If you license
the Office Developer Edition (Office XP and earlier) or the Visual Studio
Tools for Office 2003 System (Office 2003), you can package your database
with runtime support so it can run on machines that do not have Access
installed.
Some who deploy Access databases use third-party software such as Wise,
Install-Shield, or others, and may also use the scripts for those installers
produced by SageKey. I worked on a project where Wise installer was used,
but the person in charge of that area wrote his own scripts.
