Deployment of Windows XP Prof.

R

Rajiv Trivedi

Hi,

What is the ideal or industry wide accepted method for
configuration & deploying a windows xp prof.

I want to know the details like,

1) What should be the partitioning scheme ?
2) What should be the configuration parameter ?
3) How to deploy a windows xp prof. remotely ?
etc...,.

Our details are,
We have 300+ systems with window 2000.
Systems are Pentium 4 and Pentium 3.
LAN 100/1000 Mbps.
Diffrent Microsoft & Third Party Applications.

Our aime is that system should be deployed with
configuration where in, if system goes down then data
loss is almost zero. We can just install the OS and user
is ready to work with loss of data.

We need to migrate our setup completely to Windows XP
Prof.

Thanks,
Rajiv
