Demoting a DC

Hi All.

I want to demote one of my DC with no FSMO roles on it. My question is will
my existing program applications remain after performing dcpromo?

If you mean application installed at the domain controller it self? Very
hard to say, some that won't work after domain controller demotion is
Microsoft Exchange, IIS needs some re-configuration as well. It depends how
the application is built. If there is a known application you are thinking
about, you may share the name of it, other may have some suggestions.
