Demote NT BDC to 2000 member server

Hello all, trying to figure the best way to demote a NT4
BDC server to a Windows 2000 member server when upgrading
the sserver from NT to 2000. Is there any tips out there
to watch out for when trying to accomplish this task?

Nuke the machine and do a fresh 2000 installation. By default, it will be a
member server, and the installation will be pristine.

No way to do this. You can't even demote an NT DC to a member/standalone
server in any supported fashion. Wipe it & install W2k server from scratch.
