dementia virus or hacker

Earlier today, a share was posted for a program called Xero-Quasar.

DO NOT open this program. When you install this program, and open
psp, and try to use the plug in, you will first get a message saying
"you've been hacked by dimentia." The next message will be

you have been "f***ed" by dimentia.

You will then not be able to shut down your system, which will be
frozen. After unplugging your computer you will not be able to
restart... it will continue to freeze on the blue screen.......

A friend in a group sent this note to me, and I suggested that she go into
safe mode either do a search for dementia... although it could be called
something else... or go to system restore...

She tried F8 and this is her friends note back to me..

we tried to get in using safe mode... it let her get as far as select user,
and then froze up again. Only way to shut down is unplug..... do you know
any way to get any further in a safe mode start up?

any help appreciated... Rainy

ps. I downloaded the program in question and did not get any message like
this... so I know this is a separate issue that was waiting to attack...not
this program..
