Hi all,
Does anyone know where to find Dell printer service manuals? We have a
broken Dell 3000cn. I would like to open it up and take a look to see
if it's worth my time to fix. I really hate just tossing things out if
they can be fixed.
Dell's approach is to make disposable printers, told us to just buy a
new one. They would not give me access to a service manual b/c I'm not
a "Dell Certified Technician" Well, my city is not that big and we
have not been able to find a tech. Not to mention that the labor costs
would be prohibitive even if we did.
We will be buying a new printer but certainly not Dell again. If
anyone could guide me where to find a source for this Dell service
manual or even just how to get the darn thing open enough to get a
good look, I'd appreciate it.
