deletion

I recently installed a fresh installation of Win XP Pro . I immediately
started to have a problem with copying several files . Once I did install I
noticed there was a problem with Via USB Enhanced host controller. I made the
mistake of uninstalling. I guess I was thinking the computer would re-install
after re-booting-no luck.I did find a file I could download but it has a 2.0
added on to it . I'm wondering if it is safe to download it? Also in
addition, which I can't fully explain , I deleted Microsoft System
Management Bios Driver. I have already tried to re-install Xp but that did
not help. Hoping for some help and advice
 
Boot from the XP CD.

At the appropriate time tell it to format the hard drive.

Install XP Pro.
