I installed windows 2000 twice because I forgot my
password, and know everytime I turn my pc on it ask me
what program I want to use. windows apears twice. The one
I currently use and the one I forgot the password.
It is taking to much hardisk space and I dont know how to
delete it.

do you have 2 complete installations running or did you
do a reinstall over the top of the other one?

if it was just a reinstall then go to c:\boot.ini and
remove one of the "windows 2000 professional" lines
there - if they are exactly the same.

if you installed the second copy to a different location,
eg: \windows vs \winnt then remove the offending boot.ini
line then delete that directory - which could get a bit
messy.

if you do have 2 copies then i'd probably just bite the
bullet and reinstall from scratch and format the drive.

You have two installs, just boot with the install cd and
format the drive, choose a new install, make sure you have
made backups of your data....
