deleting wallpaper files

I want to delete a crude picture a friend jokingly put as my wallpaper. I
changed the wallpaper but the crude picture still shows up as one of the
choices in the wallpaper control panel. Please tell me there is a way to get
rid of it from the choices list.

He also said that he found the picture on the internet and right clicked and
chose to make the image wallpaper. It is listed as Firefox Wallpaper. Where
would this pict be so I can delete it?

It will be in the Windows folder listed as Firefox Wallpaper. Just
delete it from there.

Hello,

Fire up the registry editor (Start/Run REGEDIT) and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

On the right hand pane, check for the string value 'wallpaper' and double click it. Delete the value
(it would be the path to a wallpaper, most likely the offending one) and click on OK. Hopefully this
will fix your problem.
