Deleting Viruses

I am using Norton 2003 and have it as up to date as can be. it finds (3)
viruses in my System32 file and can NOT automatically delete them. is it safe
to delete them in safe mode manually.
 
Have you tried CWShredder first? If you have google the
file names and see what it comes up with, then I guess it
may well be ok to delete them. But wait for a more
accurate answer. Good luck.
 
Probably safe to do but that may not be all there is to remove from your system.

Go to the Symantec website and lookup the removal procedure for each virus. If
they are complex in nature, they may have a removal tool available for each one.
