I have a file called IntCodec which was downloaded from the web. Bad
mistake on my part. If seems to have the ability to tag my computer
with messages saying my computer is infected with a virus and I should
purchase their software. I have deleted some of the folders but have
two left that I am unable to delete. One is pmsngr.exe and the other is
pmmon.exe neither show as read only but when I go to delete them I get
"cannot delete access denied". Anyone have any ideas. I'm getting an
annoying pop up about every 30 seconds.

Hi,
Did you try in safe mode to delete these two files?, and scan for malware on
your system from here after deleting these files:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com
To delete the files download this utility from here:
http://www.ccleaner.com
and know the correct path and name of the file/Folder and delete it.

Please let us know.

I Googled for this malware and got this:
http://fileinfo.prevx.com/adware/qq675334082989-INTC21910195/INTCODEC-V6.178[1].EXE.html

So Prevx can apparently remove it. Or you can go through this malware
removal steps systematically, doing all the preparatory work and scans in
Safe Mode:

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a professional computer repair
shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).
