Deleting Text

When I hilight text then press delete, the following pops
up at the bottom of my screen, "Delete block? no (yes)".
Then I have to press "Y" to delete the text.
How can I turn it off so that it won't ask me but will
just delete the text?

Tools | Options | General: Clear the check boxes for both items that refer
to WordPerfect.
