Delete block

If I highlight any of my word document and then try to use the delete key,
a question pops up at the bottom of the page that says: Delete block no
(yes). I have to press the y key to delete my highlighted selection. I can
not find any reference to this feature in the help sections. How do I turn
this feature off? Thank you

Go to Tools, Options, General tab and clear the WordPerfect options.

Tools => Options => General
Uncheck the two options that have "WordPerfect" in them.
