Deleting Temp files

I notice that "Disk Cleanup" lacks an option to clear out the folder
"<Sys Drive>:\Documents and Settings\<Current User>\Local Settings\Temp"
even though it can grow to many gigs in size.

Can the files in this folder be safely deleted manually?

Hi Dave:

You can safely delete any file in that folder that is older than 24
hours - older than 48 hours if you want to be extremely careful.
