Deleting Temp Files

I just wanted to make sure before I did anything, is there any real harm in
deleting all of the files in Documents and Settings\Local Settings\Temp ?
 
No harm. If any files happen to be in use, XP won't let you delete those
files.

If you have just installed any software, reboot first. Some software
installations store files in the Temp folder and may be needed for the
reboot.

Reboot your system to make sure that none of those files are in use. Then
you can delete them.
