Deleting Setup Password

I recently purchased a computer at a sale for home, I
formatted the c drive, prepared to install W2000Pro. When
I go into setup to boot from a CD, their is a password
required, don't have a clue what this would be. Is there
anyway to delete this? How can I load a new operating
system with this on there? Any suggestions would be
helpful, thanks.

is this when you try to go to the bios to tell it to boot from the cd?? if
so maybe removing the battery would reset it.
