Hi
I have been sifting through the responses on how to remotely disable
screensavers for XP through the registry. We have a handful of PCs
networked together using workgroups, for which we would like to disable
the screensavers on all machines for all users. Due to the nature of
our applications, when some users log in, they will have no access to
the Windows environment (desktop, start menu, etc.).
I have tried to disable the screensaver through the registry for all
users on a particular PC, but have found it is still active. When I
set the parameter ScreenSaveActive to 0, there are a couple more to
control timeout, screensaver name etc. Should I delete these registry
keys? I noticed that when I manually set the screensaver off through
the desktop, these other parameters do not appear in the registry any
more.
Thanks
Neil
