Deleting Records doesn't reduce size of my dB ??

It has been awhile since this happened to me but I need to refresh my memory
on it.

It seems that when I delete a bunch of records, my Access database doesn't
get any smaller... when I look at the file size before and after.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this without wrecking my database,
relationships, quieries, forms, reports, etc ??

You need to compact the mdb to get the size of the mdb reduced.
