Deleting Read Only Folder

G

Guest

I have a folder containing several subfolders each with several files.

The parent folder is marked read only but attempting to remove this
attribute using the Properties dialog is unsuccessful and the folder remains
read only. The subfolders and files cannot be accessd at all and produce an
Access Denied error message.

Attempting to remove the read only attribute via the command line interface
is also denied.

Ideally I would like to delete these folders and files.

Any suggestions how to proceed? Iam using Windows XP Pro SP2
