deleting previous searches

how do you delete your previous searches on a web browser
so that when you start typing in a search engine, it
doesn't show what you have searched for previously
 
clear your history..
Get some IE Cleaning software to clean out the index.dat file

Select the form fill area>down arrow twice>delete key, repeat as required?
Tip - position your mouse pointer over the one you highlight with the down
arrow and keep hitting delete key.
