Deleting Outlook Express 6

I am using Outlook 2003...everything is working fine so far,
but I can't delete Express.....Is this possible or is it needed by 2003.
2003 is not an upgrade...the laptop I bought came with express and then I
loaded
Office 2003 and imported all my settings into the new outlook program.

I deleted it from setting add/remove programs, but when I tried to delete the
the folder under programs it won't allow it....I closed everything
down...and sitll
could not delete it....

Anybody know about this????
 
Hi Zebra,
It is not needed or recommended to uninstall Outlook Express. Outlook
Express is actually part of Internet Explorer. Also, Outlook uses the news
reader in Outlook Express, if you ever choose to set that up.
