I've got Win xp installed at home (upgrade version). I've
also got a Win98SE folder of old files that's like over 1
GB big. When I try to delete this folder, it returns an
error that says that this is a system folder that is
required for Windows to function properly.

Is there a way for me to safely delete this folder without
crashing my Win XP?

Many Thanks!

Alvin

Would run system restore then set a new restore point now.
Then right click the files then click properties.
Change attributes to archive only.
Then try delete.
Next shot is hit F8 at startup.
Go safe mode and delete files.
Next shot is delete via a boot disk.
