deleting multiple messages

Iwas trying to find a way to delete multiple messages, for the only way I've
found so far is one at a time even though I get asked if I would like to
delete these messages, I have not found how to do more than one, does anyone
know? I use windows mail.

1. If there is nothing in the folder that you want to keep.....
Highlight one of the messages, anyone
Press Ctrl key and HOLD
Press A key ( all the messages are now " shaded " )
Click Delete.

2. If you want to keep some, delete some........
Highlight the first one on the list that you do not want
Scroll to the last one on the same list, do NOT click it
Press Shift key and HOLD
Highlight that last one on the list ( all the messages within that list are
now " shaded " )
Click Delete.
