deleted mail issues

when I went to delete the contents of my deleted folder, it would NOT let
me. I have to delete all 50 one by one! also, the contents of all the
deleted messages are gone. It says "message cannot be found, contents cannot
be displayed." All the messages blank, not even the e-mails or subject line
has anything on them. So now I cannot recheck any of these e-mails before
perm deleting them!
Is there any fix or that?

Although that article only mentions Outbox, it works for all mail folders.

In that case, I suggest you upgrade to Windows Live Mail:
