deleting messages in o/l

I would like to delete a proportion of e mails from the deleted folders
list.
I understand that it is posible to select a range and delete eg crtl +
what are the other key s election?

It would appear you are perhaps storing msgs in the deleted folder - this is
not a good idea, this folder is a temp.place for stuff that is to be
permanently deleted
Either create other folders for stuff you wish to keep or use the archive
options

They work with SHIFT key but not with CTRL key as the OP stated.
